Quest is a freeware adventure game creator software download available through Axe Software for Windows, which I believe is one of the most well-liked adventure game creators for PCs and gaming consoles. The positive feedback for Quest has been very good, even though many people have claimed to be negative about it, stating that the game lacks challenge and that the player is often forced to do things without thinking. The positive feedback however, shows that there were many people who were able to enjoy the game to the fullest. Unfortunately, the negative critiques do not reflect the true capabilities of the game, which is why I believe that any and all negative feedbacks are only to be expected, as this game reaches millions of users worldwide. In my opinion, anyone can make a game that millions love, regardless of the quality of the game itself.
If you have ever played any of the classic adventure games like Legend of Zelda or Adventure Island, then you will definitely understand what I am saying. Quest on the other hand, is different. It's a game that's created and developed to be very challenging, requiring the players to think on their feet, use their wits and nerves to come up with the right strategies in order to beat the enemies and save the Princess. In order to fully enjoy the game, one must download the Quest installer and install it on their computer. Upon installation, the interface of Quest guides the player through the game and provides them hints as they go along.
Upon launching Quest, the interface provides the users with various options that include starting the Quest, changing the difficulty level and also the type of rewards that they can expect upon finishing the quest. Although quest is free, the fact that the game requires downloading makes me hesitant to play it. However, the software download provides me with the links to other paid adventure games such as the Age of Conan and Pirates 4. When I downloaded the software to my computer, I immediately started playing the game as soon as it was installed. It is just so addictive that once I start playing the game, I can't stop playing for at least 3 hours before I quit.
